Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is a target we work toward continuously, not a certification.

What we have implemented

  • Semantic HTML landmarks — header, nav, main and footer — on every page.
  • A single, descriptive H1 per page with a logical H2 and H3 hierarchy.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, including the mobile menu, with visible focus states.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and aria-hidden on decorative icons.
  • Colour combinations chosen to meet AA contrast for body and interface text.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320px.
  • Breadcrumb navigation marked up with aria-current on the active page.
  • Motion effects are decorative, contained and never convey information on their own.

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds and downloadable PDF documents may not yet meet the same standard. Where a document is not accessible, we will provide the information in another format on request.
